The Paper Mind Notebook Cover - A5 - Hand-Stitched Buttero Leather - Taupe

A leather cover for The Paper Mind's A5 softcover notebooks, made from Buttero — a full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from Conceria Walpier in Tuscany — here in taupe. The cover is cut and hand saddle stitched to wrap the softcover book closely, so the leather stays with you while the notebook inside is swapped out as it fills. Inside, the pockets that hold the notebook are cut from natural Buttero, an undyed tone set against the taupe exterior in the same leather.

Both the taupe exterior and the natural interior are vegetable-tanned, so the leather develops a patina with handling and light — the undyed natural pockets ambering the most visibly over time. The tanning gives it the natural scent of the leather and a smooth, firm grain, and the cut edges are hand-painted rather than left raw.

Sized for the standard A5 Notebook. It will fit any of The Paper Mind softcover A5 size notebooks including: Bank Paper Notebook, Tranext Notebook, and Dandelaid Notebook as well as other notebooks like the Midori MD A5.
