A rethink of the binder idea. Two small snaps along the top edge hold your pages in place; any paper with two standard-punched holes can go in and out, so the pad doubles as a holder for refills, clippings, printouts, or your own cut-to-size sheets. The whole thing holds about 100 sheets. Fold the cover all the way back while writing, or flip it forward to keep pages protected in a bag.
The cover is wrapped in pressed cotton — the same kind of fabric traditionally used for tents — which gives it a soft, slightly textured hand without any waterproof coating. It's lightly water-resistant but not sealed, so it'll soften, wrinkle, and show the white base threads more over time. Slubs and small irregularities in the weave are normal. Handmade in Japan, and Postalco's Snap Pad binding is patented.
Pair with a 2-hole punch and use your favorite paper.
