Postalco spent a while looking for a hole punch with the right spacing to match their Snap Pads and eventually landed on this one, made by PLUS — a Japanese stationery company that's been around since the 1940s. The spacing (80 mm between holes) and 6 mm hole diameter are the Asia/Europe two-hole standard, which is what the Snap Pad system uses, so any paper you punch with this will snap straight into an A4, A5, or A6 Snap Pad. Cut an A4 sheet in half for A5 or into quarters for A6, punch, and load.
It's a solid metal gauge underneath a plastic housing — you can punch about 16 sheets of standard paper at a time. The handle locks down flat so it stores cleanly in a drawer, and the whole thing is small enough to keep on a desk or throw in a bag. The receiving base is angled slightly to help paper slide in square without crumpling. Made in Japan, partly from recycled plastic, and compliant with Japan's Green Purchasing Law.
