The Mirage Fountain Pen in Mythos Poseidon is part of Visconti's Mythos series, a line named after figures from Greek mythology. The barrel is turned from deep blue resin shaded with gold powder and given a sandblasted finish, paired with ruthenium-plated trim. The Mythos series adds a few elements not found in the standard Mirage line: a brass grip section in place of resin, a metallic center ring engraved with "MYTHOS" and a stylized V suggesting Mount Olympus, and — on the Poseidon variant — a ruthenium-plated nib to match the dark trim.

The pen takes standard international cartridges or a converter (included). The cap closes magnetically against the barrel.
