1.5 oz (44ml) glass bottle of Prometheus Orange fountain pen ink. This is the 2nd in a series of ink designed by The Paper Mind and handmade by Anderillium.
Prometheus Orange is a bold, fiery ink that captures the essence of the titan’s stolen flame. This rich, burnt-orange hue glows with warmth like embers smoldering in the dark. Already swatched on CAL and wow! This is a rich, vibrant, almost fiery ink, which I can see myself using extensively for journalling. Great shading. I have all - yes, all - the other Anderillium inks which are now amongst my all time favourites. Their behaviour is consistent throughout and Prometheus is no different. Bert Anderson seems to be able to conjure up unique colours that are quite unlike any of my other 300 plus inks. So very easy to clean. Water fast it it not. But that’s not an issue for me. Highly recommended.
A really interesting and unique orange. Becomes darker as it dries. Performs and behaves exceptionally, which has been true of all the Paper Mind Inks. Def worth getting!
Of all my orange inks this is now my favorite. This ink is a wonderful, saturated true orange but not garish. It doesn’t jump off the page like Iroshizuku oranges. Something about the tone and saturation make it slightly subdued. A good color for any time of year. Performance is great - fast drying, flows well!
I’m a sucker for anything orange. Other than swatching I have not found the right pen yet. I’m looking.
