I’m giving five stars to support this business. But I do not care for this ink. It is very very dark. It does fade some after I have written half a page, but overall I’m not a fan of this one.
This ink reads a rich Aubergine to me with enough of a hint of grey to quiet it down. I use a number of papers from Crane to Tomoe River to Old Crown Mill and this ink performs well on all. It dries quickly and flows well. Dark purples are my most used color for correspondence and this one is very nice - easy on the eyes of the reader. I’ll be using it often.
The Anderillium Narcissus purple ink does not feather on quality writing paper. For pointed pen and copperplate, It is very reliable. As a fountain pen ink, it is quite satisfactory.
It does appear black on most papers. I had hoped it would have a slightly more purple appearance.
I plan to keep using inks from the Paper Mind +Anderillium. The biggest plus is the wide mouth jar that allows oblique pen users to dip into it without restriction. Inks in narrow mouth jars must be poured into larger containers for use with oblique pens.
Beautiful color of ink with high quality.
