Pelikan Edelstein Fountain Pen Ink - 50 ml Bottle - Tanzanite

The blue-black of Pelikan's Edelstein line, added as a standard color in 2012 and in production since. Edelstein is German for precious stone, and each ink in the collection takes its name from one — tanzanite being the deep violet-blue gem from northern Tanzania. The ink leans blue rather than gray or teal, dark enough to read as serious on the page but with enough shading that the color varies across a stroke. It lays down with a slightly purple cast when wet and settles into blue-black as it dries. Comes in Edelstein's weighted glass bottle, curved and heavy enough to sit steady on a desk.
