Onigiri Pen For The Desk
Onigiri Pen For The Desk
A three-sided rollerball pen. Triangles are a bit rough around the corners, so we shaped it into something that resembles an 'Onigiri', a hand-gripped Japanese rice ball shaped like a triangle without hard edges. An Onigiri is simple and clean, solid, and easy to hold - essential characteristics that the Onigiri Pen shares.
Works with Onigiri Magnetic Pen Stand (sold separately).

Me likey a lots. Thanks
Excellent writing instrument love the compact size
The Nigiri Pen is much heftier than I anticipated, but in a good way. So often, smaller pens don't have a good feel in the hand because they are either constructed of lesser materials or they just have less of better materials. This pen has plenty of aluminum, and the dimensions are such that it feels very substantial. I immediately swapped out the medium Schmidt 5888 for a fine because I needed a more delicate line, and with the Schmidt style refills, even fine is not that fine, but it does lay down a nice smooth line. The magnetic snap of the cap is very pleasurable - similar to my Montblanc M - sort of the new fidget spinners. I knocked one star off for two reasons: 1. The website shows an aluminum version without the black finish, but that doesn't appear to actually be an option, though it would have been my preference; and 2. You must either hold the pen back on the barrel or very low down on the "section" because of the rather sharp edge where the barrel transitions and the cap snaps on. Despite these minor dings, I would still recommend this pen if you are at all prone to roller balls. Even if you're not, it looks good just lying on your desk.
