This anodized aluminum pocket pen provides a unique haptic experience with its gear shaped grip and magnetic capping system that provides an audible "shhhunnnk" sound when capping and posting this pen. When posed, the Axis becomes a full-sized pen with a large grip section.

Highly positive experience overall.
The shipment was prompt, and smooth. Good protective packaging of the original Monteverde pack.
The pen appearance is novel and different from a standard shapes. Materials and coatings quality is good, pen is convenient to write with when the cap is posted. without cap it is slightly short for a good grip. Magnets for cap fixing on pen when closed and when posted do perfect job. Ordered my favorite "Fine" nib, and it is really "fine", leaves thin and smooth line; easy to write.
The pen keeps ink well for days without any leak or drying. Started with the sample ink cartridges supplied with the pen look too faded for me, yet this is easy to change.
Overall experience is very good, will recommend this pen
