This anodized aluminum pocket pen provides a unique haptic experience with its gear shaped grip and magnetic capping system that provides an audible "shhhunnnk" sound when capping and posting this pen. When posed, the Axis becomes a full-sized pen with a large grip section.

My wife and I recently each bought an Axis pen (blue for her, green for me) from The Paper Mind. These pocket pens look unusual but it turns out that their oddity is really their solution to several common pocket pen problems. These allow very quick uncap-post-write-recap action needed for quick notes because their caps are held magnetically. We both found the nibs to be excellent, smooth, wet, wonderful (Medium nib for me, broad for her) I highly recommend these pens.
