Midori Diamond Memo Pad - Small - Lined - Black

A pocket memo pad that has been in production since 1961, and a fixture among Japanese students and office workers for most of that time. It’s twin-ring bound at the top, narrow enough to slip into a shirt pocket, and filled with MD Paper — Midori’s own stock, refined over decades to take ink without feathering or bleeding through. Pages are ruled on both sides in pale green at 5 mm, close enough to keep small handwriting tidy.

The cover is flexible plastic rather than card, so it shrugs off pocket wear and a splash of water, and the corners are rounded so pages don’t catch on the way in and out of a bag.
