Laconic Stock Folder - A5 - Brown

A paper file folder for keeping loose sheets together: clippings, inserts, printouts, finished pages pulled out of a notebook. What sets it apart from an ordinary folder is the exterior, which carries a printed layout for labeling and indexing — space to write what’s inside, when you filed it, and whatever notes belong with it. The folder becomes its own record rather than an anonymous sleeve.

The stock is textured card, sturdy enough to hold its shape and soft enough to take ink. It picks up character as it fills and gets handled, which is the point: a folder that looks used is a folder you can find.

Why it’s special

• Printed exterior layout for labeling, indexing, and notes — write on the folder itself rather than tabbing it
• Textured paper stock with a tactile surface that marks and softens with handling
• Sized to hold A5 sheets with margin, so nothing catches on the edges
• Sits flat in a drawer or a bag, and works alongside a notebook or on its own
• Designed by Style, LACONIC’s Japanese stationery line
• Also available in A4
