Kaweco DIA2 Ballpoint Pen - Black Gold

Out of all the Kaweco models, the DIA2 undergoes the most complex manufacturing process. The traces of the Kaweco DIA go back to 1921. There have been various variants since then. At that time, the writing systems fountain pen, twist-, push- and multi-colored pencils were made of black ebonite and high-grade, colored celluloid. Today, the series is made of high-quality acrylic and is polished by hand as a last step.

The shapes, decorative elements and proportions that could date back to the 1920s are preserved in detail. The function of the rotary ballpoint pen is one of the technical achievements of our time.

The ballpoint pen consist of more than 15 individual parts. The pen lining is made of deep black acrylic (PMMA) and polished and assembled by hand.
