Upon opening the box this pen was even more pleasing to the my eye than anticipated. The ivory/creme color with the hint of stripes trimmed in Rose Gold Plate gave the appearance of a sophisticated, well designed writing instrument. Being a fan of substantial nibs (1.5 mm in this case) made me smile. The pointed top and bottom give the FP a more interesting appearance. The multi-faceted clasp with the four bands (one rimming the edge of the ink window) of the Rose Gold is a contrast that provides a breath of elegance. The plated nib is larger in the right proportion to the body of the pen. There is comfort in holding this pen. I do not choose to post. I am actually not a fan of posting. The thin and wide lines are welcomed to my cursive script. A negative is the dry start of the pen when capped. It needs time and numerous strokes to have a positive ink flow.

Very smooth buttery writer out of the box. Shipment was fast and packaging perfect. Great seller to work with I'll be back for another GIOIA! THE NIB UNITS WERE PERFECT, I just can't figure out how to install it!🤪😱😲
