I like this pen. It is attractive and writes smoothly. The only complaint is that the piston, when filling, does not show up in the ink window, so I don’t know if I’m getting a complete full. I don’t know if this is a feature of the pen or a defect.
The pen had a defect and paper mind took care of the problem promptly. The pen is now performing well and I’m quite pleased with it. It’s a very pleasant writing experience with the Jowo nib and the material is very nice.
Wonderful pens. I purchased two as gifts to fellow fountain pen aficionados as I’m a collector/user and use several Metis pens myself. The nibs write true to JOWO line size as Fine and Medium using most inks. A bit wetter with say Monteverde inks. These pens are perfectly finished with beautiful acrylics, great ink capacity and balance. I find they’re comparable if not better than quite a few much higher priced pens. The Paper Mind’s handling of orders is prompt and efficient. I also have to mention the selection of stationery is the best I’ve found - anywhere. The office products on offer have obviously been selected on the basis of quality. Thank-You!
Larger, solid feeling pen. Especially nice is the longer grip section so that cap threads are out of the way. This is a very wet writer (tried with different inks), at least in the 1.1mm stub version. I much appreciated the hand-written note from Blake that was included in this shipment.
