The Metis 2.0 is an updated refined version of the original. Like the original it is a large handmade Italian fountain pen produced from a solid rod of resin. It features a piston filling system and a custom decorated JoWo #6 steel nib. The 2.0 features flat tops, an engraved cap ring, and an ink window that is now concealed when capped.
Metis is the Greek goddess of good counsel, planning, cunning, and wisdom.

Pen quality is very decent. Color of the resin material is gorgeous. This is a piston filler type pen. Pen does post, but when posted the back end becomes heavy and a little uncomfortable to write with. Better to use it unposted. Pen is also a little larger and longer than most pens, so if you plan to use a pocket pen case to carry it in, make sure it can accomodate the length of the pen.
