Hexagonal barrel and cap made of anodized aluminum. Cap, with a metal clip pulls off and posts on the back end while writing. With or without the cap, the pen has a balanced weight. The ergonomically shaped grip zone allows for comfortable writing and is suitable for right and left-handed users.

Much smoother nib and easier grip than the Safari. Only minus is you cannot remove the press fit nib and feed for thorough cleaning. The nib sits too far down in the housing - not enough nib / nib feed to grip with your fingers.
