The resin in the Duna series can be hit or miss in my opinion (e.g., the Blue Oasis has the base color of a Bic lighter), but the aesthetics of the resin used in the Magenta colorway is mesmerizing. Bought this as a random gift for my wife, but was so impressed by the appearance that I had to track down the FP version for her as well. This is also the first time I have held a Duna BP in the hand, and the twist mechanism (to actuate the pen) is well-emgineered and built to a high standard of quality. I’d rank it with my GvFC as the nicest feel of all the twist-actuated BPs I have tried. Only knock is the white fill in one of the letters in the model name is missing from the engraving on the back of the clip-end, but for Italian QC, it’s something I’m happy to live with - enough for me to knock it down a half-star, but not enough to keep me from rounding it back up to five. And The Paper Mind was quick to ship as always, with a degree of care in the packing that does not go unnoticed.
