This notebook is wonderful! I especially appreciate the quality of the paper and binding. The included pink blotting sheet is a thoughtful touch, and it's very helpful in preventing my fingerprints sticking on the paper, which can badly affect the writing.
Cosmo Air Light paper is fantastic for fountain pens, beautifully showcasing the shading and sheen of my inks. However, I did notice a couple of things:
1) As a coated paper, it can be a bit sensitive to finger oils. This occasionally causes the ink to resist, giving the appearance of skipping. The blotting sheet helps to minimize this.
2) My pen strokes seem slightly wider than usual on this paper. This "line widening effect" actually enhances the inks' shading and sheens, but others might not like this.
Overall, I'm very happy with this notebook.
What’s not to like about having a notebook with Cosmo Air Light paper! And it is beautifully bound in a linen hardcover. The fountain pen inks pop and glow on this paper. The inclusion of a blotter sheet is appreciated. Thank you for offering this legendary paper.

I’m embarrassed to say how many notebooks I’ve tried. I’m done now. This fulfills all my needs: no bleed through, feathering or ghosting even with my wettest broadest fountain pen nibs. Lays flat from first to last page. Even does well with my very soft lead pencils. Not too many pages. I have literally thrown away all my other notebooks. Grand slam Blake!
The notebook is really well-made, a lot of thought obviously went into the design. It’s pleasant to use, and seems durable without feeling clunky. The paper is amazing for showing fountain pen ink properties, especially sheen. Cosmo Air Light paper is no longer being manufactured, so if you haven’t tried it, get one of these before they’re gone!
