The master craftsmen at Caran d’Ache have drawn inspiration from this pattern – created in the 17th century by Milanese goldsmiths – to lend the body of this iconic pen its own unique light.

Each Ecridor is fitted with Caran d'Ache's own Goliath refill which is one of the longest lasting ballpoint refills available, able to write up to 8,000 meters (roughly 5 miles of line) or approximately 600 A4 size pages.
