As Aurora's flagship, the Optima features a large 14K solid gold nib with an ebonite feed, hand-polished chrome trim, and piston filling system. All components are made in-house by Aurora. Specialty nibs including italic and stub nibs are ground by hand by Aurora's master nibmeister.
