The pen tray is crafted from the reddish heartwood of Japanese cherry, selected to conceal marks and wear. Its soft, tactile form gently cradles your cherished pens and fountain pens. A recessed detail allows for easy removal of paper and cards with one hand.
The letter tray features a traditional joinery technique: hikikomi-tometsugi (keyed mitre joints). This subtle detail not only enhances strength but also evokes a refined Japanese aesthetic.
